Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of LLMtoMD (the “Service”), a document-conversion and document-intelligence platform available at llmtomd.com. By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you are using the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you are authorized to bind that organization.

1. The Service

LLMtoMD converts documents and other files into structured Markdown and provides related features such as semantic search, document question-answering, structured data extraction, a knowledge graph, and API and MCP access. We may add, change, or remove features over time.

2. Accounts

You must provide accurate information when registering and keep your credentials secure. You are responsible for all activity under your account and for any API keys you generate. Notify us promptly at support@llmtomd.com if you suspect unauthorized use.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the Service to:

• upload or process content you do not have the right to use;
• violate any law, or infringe the intellectual-property or privacy rights of others;
• upload malware, or attempt to disrupt, overload, or reverse-engineer the Service;
• circumvent usage limits, credits, or access controls; or
• resell or redistribute the Service except as expressly permitted.

4. Your content

You retain all rights to the files you upload and the Markdown and data we produce for you (“Your Content”). You grant us a limited license to process Your Content solely to provide and improve the Service to you — for example, to convert, index, and store your documents. We do not sell Your Content and do not use it to train third-party AI models. See our Privacy Policy for details.

5. Plans, credits, and billing

Paid plans are billed in advance on a recurring basis (monthly or annual) through our third-party payment processor. Standard conversions run against your plan’s monthly allowance; credits meter premium AI operations such as AI Vision, transcription, and semantic analysis. Prices are stated in U.S. dollars and may change with notice for future billing periods. Taxes may apply. You may cancel at any time; see our Refund Policy.

6. Intellectual property

The Service, including its software, design, and trademarks, is owned by LLMtoMD and its licensors and is protected by law. These Terms grant you no rights to our intellectual property except the limited right to use the Service.

7. Third-party services

The Service relies on third-party providers for hosting, payment processing, and AI capabilities. Your use of the Service may be subject to those providers’ terms, and we are not responsible for their acts or omissions.

8. Disclaimers

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. Automated conversion and AI features may contain errors; you are responsible for reviewing outputs before relying on them, particularly for legal, medical, financial, or other consequential uses.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, LLMtoMD will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits or data. Our total liability for any claim arising out of or relating to the Service will not exceed the amounts you paid us in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim.

10. Termination

You may stop using the Service and close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms or to protect the Service or other users. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ends; certain provisions (such as ownership, disclaimers, and limitation of liability) survive.

11. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the “Last updated” date and, where appropriate, notify you. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
