Security & data protection
Your documents are sensitive. Here’s how we protect them — and how little of them we keep.
Encryption in transit
All traffic to and from the Service is encrypted with TLS. Uploads are stored in private, access-controlled object storage.
Short data retention
Source files are processed to produce your Markdown and automatically deleted within 24 hours. You can delete converted documents at any time.
Tenant isolation
Every organization’s data is scoped and segregated. Role-based access controls govern who in your org can view, convert, or manage data.
Authentication
Sign in with email and password, Google, GitHub, or enterprise SSO/OIDC. Optional multi-factor authentication and scoped API keys you can rotate or revoke.
Secure payments
Payments are handled by a PCI-compliant payment processor. We never see or store your full card details on our servers.
Trusted infrastructure
The Service runs on reputable cloud infrastructure with network controls, backups, and monitoring.
Privacy by default
We don’t sell your data and don’t use your documents to train third-party AI models. AI subprocessors are restricted from training on your content.
Responsible disclosure
We welcome reports from security researchers and work to fix verified issues promptly.
